01. In-App Catalogs, Products and Services

 

Having a shopping cart in your app so users can purchase your products and services on demand is a great way to make money through apps. This could include virtual goods such as reports, podcasts, speeches, ebooks, and tickets to events - or selling physical products such as shoes and clothing, accesories, electronics, and other items that would be scheduled for pickup or either shipped to the buyer. 02. Loyalty Points

 

This is a great feature to have in your app. It is a digital version of a traditional stamp card, sometimes called punch cards. 04. Subscriptions

 

This allows app users to enjoy full functionality and view a predetermined amount of content for free, but then prompts them to sign up for a paid subscription for membership, additional content, or unlimited access.  This is best suited for service-based companies and it allows you to earn revenue on a recurring basis.

 

05. Sponsorships

 

In order to gain exposure to your clients, some businesses will sponsor your app. In some cases, they may want to offer specials, value added services, discounts, or other incentives. Either the sponsor pays you for advertising through your app or you share in the revenues with redeemed rewards or purchases made through the app.

 

06. Paid Downloads

 

This simply means that if people want to download your app, they must first purchase it from the app store. App downloads can cost from $0.99 to $999.99. Note: app stores share up to 30% in download costs. The secret to this model is that you must set yourself apart as being different from similar free apps. You must have the ability to show unique branding and perceived quality and value. 

 

 

07. Other
